- Change the default login

Furthermore, disabling SSID broadcasting might cause connectivity problems as some systems only function when APs have SSID broadcasting enabled. MAC address filtering is not hack-proof, as it is easy to spoof and the filters can cause various connectivity problems.
- Enable the Firewall
Protecting your network from unauthorized access is possible by enabling the firewall in the router. By doing so the firewall will control the incoming and outgoing network traffic and determine which traffic is allowed through and which is not.
