Tanaza Cookie Policy

This cookie policy is applicable to all TANAZA domains (for example, but not limited to, tanaza.com, blog.tanaza.com, tanaza.it, …), below “Our Websites”.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website sends to your computer or other devices connected to the Internet to uniquely identify the user’s browser or to save information or settings in your browser. During each subsequent visit, cookies are transmitted back to the site that created them and allow thus to “remember” the user’s actions and preferences over time. They are registered locally in the temporary memory of the user’s browser for varying periods of time depending on the need and are generally comprised between a few hours and a few years, with the exception of cookies profiling the maximum duration of which is of 365 calendar days.

Cookies have different purposes, for example, simplify site navigation, to analyze site usage, store the user’s favorite sites, present advertising content more targeted than its interests.

Types of cookies

There are different types of cookies:

i. with respect to the function:

  1. technical cookies: these cookies are strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the site, which is normally installed by the owner or operator of the website. They are useful to navigate through the pages, share the content of the site, store the user’s login credentials to speed entry to the site and to maintain the preferences and credentials while browsing.

These cookies may be grouped into:

session cookies, which allow users to navigate and use our Website (e.g. to purchase items online or authenticate themselves to access certain sections);

analytics cookies, which can be equated to technical cookies insofar as they are used directly by the website manager to collect aggregate information on the number of visitors and the pattern of visits to the website;

functional cookies, which allow users to navigate as a function of certain predetermined criteria (such as language or products to be purchased) in order to improve the quality of service;

  1. statistical and performance cookies: these are cookies that allow you to learn how users use the site, to be able to evaluate and improve the performance and prioritize the production of content that best meets the information needs of users. The information collected by these cookies are usually anonymous and not linked to your personal information and generally, the use of them is connected to third-party services. When the data collected is not completely anonymous, the user is informed and can refuse to give consent to the use;
  1. profiling cookies: aimed at creating user profiles, for example for promotional purposes, in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences given during navigation, and to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Thanks to these cookies, advertisements appear on the site and therefore are potentially invasive. For this reason, for their use, a dual informative must be provided, short and long, and it is necessary that the user gives their consent;

ii. with respect to the subject involved in the use of cookies:

  1. cookie of the owner of the site (“First Party“): these cookies are set by the owner of the website visited by the user, which is responsible for providing the relevant information about their use;
  1. third-party cookies: these cookies are used for certain features provided by “third parties” to improve the browsing experience (such as the inclusion of video); among these are those cookies necessary to integrate products and functions of thirdparty software within the pages of the site, such as icons and preferences expressed in social networks in order to share the content of the site (for example, through the button “like” for Facebook, you can set a cookie readable by Facebook). Information collected by third parties are managed and governed by them, according to their privacy and cookie policy. For complete information about it, you can access information about cookies and the processing of data on the sites of third parties;

iii. with respect to the length of storage:

  1. session cookies: these are generally technical cookies which are not stored permanently on the user’s computer and are deleted when closing the browser. They allow the user to navigate and use the site ( for example, allowing them to make a purchase or to authenticate for access to restricted areas);
  1. permanent cookies: these are cookies stored on the user’s device for varying periods of time that allow you to store your preferences or user actions on a website.
